The ability to forgive shows that you care about someone and without it, people could be miserable. All around the world there are mistakes being made and people apologizing and most get forgiven but some don't. Of course not everyone deserves to be forgiven but most do. It is rare for someone to do something so bad that it is impossible to forgive them. Forgiving your friend is easy, but forgiving an entire nation is a lot more difficult. Nations have had to forgive each other after times of war and racism, or else nothing would have ever changed. It has helped nations and friendships to survive over long periods of time. Forgiving yourself for your past mistakes is also important as then you can live life without regrets. Forgiveness is a value in the core of a human and being able to forgive can make you and other people happier.
